The Reykjavik Grapevine:

''Delivering wild levels of sensory overload to the audience through highly energetic, humorous, often improvised party songs, the band has quickly infiltrated the local music scene by being skillfully adaptable and satisfying a craving for genuine fun, immediacy, and not giving a fuck.''...

"Musical performances ranged from electronic, punk, and hip-hop, to neo-classical. What tied them together was the emphasis on performance. The Post Performance Blues Band was no exception to this rule. Gyrating to repetitive beats in animal-print spandex with wooden beams held across their shoulders, their performance was like the 12 stations of the cross happening inside an 80s aerobic exercise video (it is in fact called ‘Crucifit’)."

The Post Performance Blues Band stood out in 2017

"Three bands caught my attention this festival—all Icelandic ... Then the weird Post Performance Blues band—original, talented performers driven more by theatre than music ...

"My favorite unexpected performance was though Post Performance Blues Band, also at Kaffibarinn. I didn’t really know what to expect, and thought this was going to be a shitty blues band, but lord was I wrong. They were funny, clever and incredibly talented. It was a dance performance with a theatrical flair, and one of my top three most enjoyable acts at Iceland Airwaves." - The Reykjavik Grapevine
